Naming Work

Naming my work is a usually a spontanious process…..unless it is an extremely special piece, I just sit down with multiple pendants, card them up, and derive names thru fairly fast free association….I concentrate on the particular piece of jewelry and different thoughts/names/associations will come to mind. I choose the combination of words that appeals to me the most and write it on the card. As my name is “Gypsea Glass”, which was born of an ocean/sea relation, I do fairly often try to focus on sea related themes when I am composing names.
